Ideally located in a protected area of Morningside, in Sandton, a district of Johannesburg, the Johannesburg campus can accommodate students throughout their schooling, from Early Years to Year 12. Today it accommodates 841 students.
The Lycée français Jules Verne has been located in Morningside, in its current premises, since 1992. The presence of a French educational establishment in Johannesburg dates back longer: it was in fact in the 1960s that the first French school opened his doors.
As it expanded, the establishment, first located in the Parktown district until 1976, then moved to Zoo Lake, before settling in Morningside, at its current location.
