In-service training

Training teachers is at the core of implementing the French school reforms. It forms part of the 2005 orientation law and the AEFE’s strategic orientation plan to improve the quality of our school’s teaching and to foster success among our students.

The regional in-service training plan is based on institutional changes and reforms and is in line with the AEFE’s strategic orientation plan. As such, the teachers of the Southern Africa Indian Ocean zone benefit from in-service training that is approved by the AEFE’s educational department.

In-service training groups meet within schools to draw up the training strategy as well as the list of teachers enrolled for the various courses.
